Best Practices of Hospitals in Management of Epidemic Conditions: A Scoping Review

Background: Many hospitals globally have valuable experiences in preparing for management and responding to infectious epidemics. Identifying analyzing these can provide comprehensive practical data decision-making effective performance. This study aimed conduct a scoping review content analysis of the best practices hospital (private or public) epidemic conditions.Materials Methods: research is analysis, conducted 2021. Data was collected by searching different databases, including Pubmed, Scopus, Web Sciences, ProQuest, websites, search engines, public reports without time limits. Content performed analysis.Results: We retrieved 8842 records from databases other sources. Finally, 24 studies 12 countries were selected analysis. Most belonged United States (9 cases), most subjects on Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) (19 studies). classified results into two major categories in-hospital executive readiness logistic readiness. Executive included 11 main (physical structure, resource management, exposure reduction, patients caregivers’ corpse disinfection, staff support, patient admission, instructions guidelines, tele- communication, education) 26 sub-categories. Logistic consisted three (leadership/team making, using capabilities) five sub-categories.Conclusion: Healthcare managers use identified dimensions managerial responsiveness as an action plan during epidemic.
